Samurai Hostel Asakusa (formerly called Enaka Asakusa Central Hostel) is a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced hostel in central Asakusa. This hostel features a shared kitchen, a vegan restaurant, an on-site bar, a rooftop terrace, and laundry facilities. The hostel has direct access to Nakamise shopping street and Sensoji Temple and is very convenient for local transport.
Dormitories
Samurai Hostel Asakusa has a mixture of dormitories with capsule beds or bunk beds. There are mixed dormitories for both genders and also female-only dormitories. All beds have comfortable Simmons mattresses. All beds also come with a reading lamp, an electrical outlet, a luggage hook, a small desk, a locker, and a curtain for privacy. Dormitories are accessed by digital card keys
All bathrooms are shared. Free towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryers are provided. Toothbrushes, combs, and shaving razors can be bought from reception.

Dining & Catering
On the first floor is a vegan restaurant called “Samurai Yatai” which serves simple dishes of ramen noodles, soba noodles, and curry. There is also a café and bar serving soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
The hostel also has a shared kitchen which is open 24 hours a day. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, sink, toaster, microwave oven, stove, and electric kettle. There is a Family Mart convenience store 3 minutes from the hostel where guests can buy basic groceries and drinks. There are also a large number of coffee shops in the area where guests can get breakfast, and a variety of restaurants serving sushi, braised eel on rice, udon noodles, and gyoza dumplings.
Other Services & Facilities
Check-in time is between 16.00 and 23.00, and check-out time is by 10.00. Guests can store their luggage at reception before checking in or after checking out.
This hostel has a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the Asakusa skyline and Tokyo Skytree.
There is a common lounge area with a TV. Some board games can be borrowed from reception.
There are self-service laundry facilities with coin-operated washing machines for and dryers.

The Kaminarimon Gate of Sensoji Temple is 3 minutes away and the main building of the temple is 4 minutes away. The Tobu, Toei, and Tokyo Metro Asakusa stations are 7 minutes from the hostel. TX Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line is 6 minutes away.
