Khaosan Tokyo Kabuki is a good cheap option for travelers on a budget who only want a hot shower and a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in. The hostel has a range of private room and dormitory options which makes it suitable for single travelers, couples, and families. This hostel also has easy access to all the Asakusa railway and subway stations, and is in walking-distance from local attractions Sensoji Temple and the Kaminarimon Gate.
Guest Rooms & Dormitory Beds
This hostel has a mixture of private rooms and dormitory beds. Private rooms come with twin, triple, and quadruple bunk beds. There is also a Japanese style twin room with twin futons rolled out on a tatami matted floor.
Some private rooms also have their own private bathroom with a shower. Dormitories are mixed and sleep no more than four people in bunk beds. Dormitory guests have their own luggage locker. All sleeping areas are non-smoking and have air conditioning and heating.
Shared shower areas have free shampoo and body wash. Rental towels costs 50 yen each.

Dining Facilities
No meals are served in this hostel, but there is a shared kitchen area with an induction stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, and other kitchen equipment. Free tea and coffee are also available here. The kitchen is open 24 hours a day.
There is a Family Mart convenience store just 1 minute from the hostel where you can buy cheap snacks and drinks 24 hours a day. For daily groceries the Ozeki supermarket is just 2 minutes away.

Reception is open from 6.00 until 26.00. Reception staff are extremely friendly, speak several languages and are happy to help with inquiries.
Check-in time is from 15.00 to 26.00, and check-out is by 11.00. However, an early check-out or a late check-in outside reception hours is possible if you make arrangements in advance. Baggage can be stored at reception before checking in (from 6.00 am) or after checking out (until 22.00). This hostel has no curfew.
The hostel has a common room which is accessible 24 hours a day and is popular for socializing with other international guests. This area has an information lounge, free-use computers, comfortable seating, a TV, video games, comics, drinks vending machines, and a dining table.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the hostel.
There is a self-service laundry with a coin-operated washing machine and dryer. The washing machine costs 200 yen for a single cycle, and the dryer costs 100 yen for 20 minute spin. Washing detergent is provided for free.
There is an elevator for the upper levels.
Shared areas, rooms, and dormitories are all non-smoking, but there is a smoking area on the 1st floor.
Location
Khaosan Tokyo Kabuki occupies a prime location in Asakusa. All the Asakusa railway and subway stations can be walked to in just 7 minutes. The Kaminarimon Gate of Sensoji Temple is just 1 minute away. The streets around the hostel are also full of sushi shops, seafood restaurants, cafes, and souvenir stores.
