Guest Rooms
Asakusa Hotel Hatago has 30 guest rooms on 9 floors. The compact Japanese style rooms have tatami matting floors, sliding paper screens on the windows, and Simmons brand bedding to ensure a good night’s sleep. Guest rooms come in three types: Single Rooms are fitted with a semi-double bed, Twin Rooms with two single beds, and the Deluxe Twin Room has two single beds and a sofa bed.

All guest rooms are non-smoking and are supplied with air conditioning and heating, wireless internet access, a flat-screen TV, a small refrigerator, a combined humidifier and air purifier, an electric kettle and tea making set, a standing lamp, a hair dryer, and a traditional yukata style bathrobe. Adjoining bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub, and a toilet with a heated seat and electric bidet. Bathroom amenities include a full set of towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, and shaving razors.

Breakfast & Dining
A light complimentary set breakfast is served in the 9th floor observatory lounge every morning from 7.00 till 9.30. Guests can choose between Japanese or Western style breakfast sets with a choice of tea, coffee, or juice. For other meals, the staff at reception can recommend a wide variety of local restaurants and cheap eateries. There is also a Family Mart convenience store 2 minutes from the hotel where you can pick up snacks, drinks, cheap sandwiches, rice balls, and pot noodles.
Other Services and Facilities
Staff at the 24 hour reception desk are friendly and helpful and some can speak English and Chinese. Luggage can be left at reception both before checking in and after checking out. Check-in time is from 15.00 and checkout time is at 10.00. There is also a delivery service that you can use to send your baggage on to the next hotel or to the airport.
Tourist pamphlets and maps are available in the reception area to help you find your way around.
The 9th floor observatory lounge has a splendid view overlooking the Sumida River, Tokyo Skytree, and the Asahi Beer Building with its famous Golden Flame. The lounge is open for general use from 15.00 to 23.00. There is an automatic drinks vending machine where guests can buy cans of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
In-room massages can be booked at reception. Massages are available between 15.00 and 24.00. A 45 minute massage will cost 5,000 yen and a 90 minute massage will cost 8,000 yen.
Mobile phone chargers, sewing kits, corkscrews, bottle openers, nail clippers, are all available to borrow from reception.
On the first floor there is a self-service laundry with a coin-operated washing machine and dryer. A single washing cycle costs 200 yen, 30 minutes in the dryer costs 100 yen, and laundry detergent can be bought from reception for 100 yen.

Location
The hotel is located in a quiet area but is very convenient for local sightseeing. The Kaminarimon Gate of Sensoji Temple is 6 minutes away, the Nakamise shopping street is 7 minutes away, and Tokyo River Cruise boats can be boarded at Asakusa Pier which is just 6 minutes away.
Multiple train lines are also accessible from this hotel. The Tobu Skytree Line and limited express services can be accessed at Tobu Asakusa Station which is 6 minutes away. The Ginza Line is 5 minutes away at Tokyo Metro Asakusa Station and the Toei Asakusa Line is 2 minutes away at Toei Asakusa Station. Kuramae Station on the Toei Oedo Line is 9 minutes away. The Tsukuba Express service for Akihabara and Tsukuba can be boarded at TX Asakusa Station is 13 minutes away.
