K’s House Tokyo Oasis

K’s House Tokyo Oasis is a cozy hostel located in the heart of downtown Asakusa. This hostel offers inexpensive but comfortable accommodation in a convenient location which is just a short walk away from the major attractions and transport links. The hostel is fully equipped for a traveler’s needs, with clean communal facilities, and a friendly atmosphere.

Guest Rooms & Dormitories

This hostel has a mix of private rooms and dormitories. There are 5 types of private room and two dormitories. All sleeping areas have air conditioning and heating.

Double Rooms have double beds and are suitable for couples. Double Room type A has its own private bathtub and toilet. Double Room type B has its own private shower and toilet.
The Twin Room has a bunk bed for two people with a tatami bench, a private bathtub, and toilet.

The Triple Room has one single bed and a bunk bed for two people with a private bathtub and toilet.
The Family Room sleeps three people in a double bed, and a futon on a tatami matted space. It also has a private bathtub and toilet.
The 4 Person Private Room has two bunk beds for four people with a private toilet and shower.

There is also a 4 person mixed dormitory with an attached toilet and shower, and a 5 person mixed dormitory with an attached toilet and wash basin.

In addition to the private bathrooms there is a common bathroom with a shower and bathtub on the 4th floor. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided for all the bathrooms. Bath towels can be rented from reception for 100yen. Private rooms get bath towels for free. Toothbrushes and other toiletries can be bought at reception for 150 yen per item.

Dining & Catering

This hostel has a fully equipped kitchen with a sink, stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, rice cooker, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a dining table, and basic seasonings. Free coffee and tea is also available. There is a supermarket, a 24 hour convenience store, and a drug store – all within one minutes’ walk from the hostel.

Other Services & Facilities

Reception is open from 8.00 till 22.00. Luggage can be stored for free at reception between these hours. Reception staff speak English and are happy to give recommendations for the local neighborhood and Tokyo in general. Check-in time is between 16.00 and 21.30. Check-out time is by 12.00. This hostel has no curfew.

There is a cozy common lounge area decorated in a contemporary Japanese style. Sightseeing brochures, guidebooks, and other information is available in the common area. Special events and parties are also sometimes held in the common area.

There is a computer corner where guests can access the internet. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the hostel.

There is a self-service laundry on the 5th floor with coin-operated washing machines and dryers.

Lockers are available for guests’ valuables.

Location

K’s House Tokyo Oasis is especially convenient for TX Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line which is just a 5 minute walk away. The Tobu, Toei, and Tokyo Metro Asakusa stations are 12 minutes away. Nearby attractions are Hanayashiki Amusement Park (2 minutes away), Sensoji Temple (5 minutes away), and Asakusa Shrine (5 minutes away). Here is a map of the location.
