Hotel 3000 Asakusa Honten has a mixture of private guest rooms and dormitory beds on two floors. All rooms and dormitories are carpeted and have air conditioning, heating, and smoke alarms. All shower and toilet facilities are shared. All rooms and dormitories are non-smoking.

There are men’s dormitory beds and a mixture of private rooms on the 2nd floor with shared unisex showers and unisex toilet facilities. On the 3rd floor all rooms, dormitories, showers, and toilet facilities are restricted to ladies only. Private guest rooms come in twin, quadruple, and 8-bed types. However, all beds are single bunk beds. Bunk beds in the dormitories have their own doors and privacy curtains to ensure guests’ privacy. All bunks have an electrical outlet and reading light.

Shampoo, conditioner, body soap are supplied in the shared showers. Guests can pick up free amenities such as a toothbrush, hair brush, shaving razor and other toiletries at reception. Towels, slippers, and hair dryers are also available for free.

Breakfast & Dining

A free basic buffet breakfast of bread, jam, eggs, potato salad, pasta, fruit and other items is served every morning in the 3rd floor cafeteria. This cafeteria space is open 24 hours a day and features a free drinks machine and an open terrace. The cafeteria also has a refrigerator, a toaster, a microwave oven, and an electric kettle. Staff can advise guests on the best cheap eateries in the neighborhood. There is also a Lawson convenience store right outside the hostel where guests can buy cheap snacks, drinks, sandwiches, rice balls and other provisions.

Other Services & Facilities

The reception desk on the 3rd floor is staffed 24 hours a day. Guests can leave their baggage at reception before checking in and after checking out.

This hostel has a self-service laundry with a coin-operated washing machine and dryer.

Free baggage lockers are available on the 3rd floor.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the building.

Bicycles are available to borrow for free and are an excellent way to explore the neighborhood.
Computers are available for the guests’ use in the 3rd floor Computer Corner.

There is an elevator to carry guests to the upper floors.

An iron can be borrowed from reception.

Location

Hotel 3000 Asakusa Honten is located in the commercial center of Asakusa and is just a 2 minute walk away from the Asakusa Rox shopping complex. The Kaminarimon Gate, Sensoji Temple, and Nakamise shopping street are just a 4 minute stroll away. There are also a large number of cool cafes and cheap restaurants in this area.

From Tobu Asakusa Station and the Tokyo Metro and Toei Asakusa subway stations the hostel is an 8 minute walk. TX Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line is just 4 minutes away. Here is a map of this hostel’s location.
