B:Conte Asakusa is a residential hotel with serviced apartments each of which comes with its own private kitchenette, laundry, and bathroom facilities. The hotel building is very well placed for all of Asakusa’s top sightseeing attractions, as well as shopping, dining, and transportation facilities.

Guest Rooms

B:Conte Asakusa has a range of rooms and suites with double, queen, and king sized beds. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. All beds are fitted with comfortable Serta brand mattresses and the interior décor is stylish and contemporary. All rooms are supplied with a night table, a desk and chair with a desk lamp, a TV cabinet with a large LCD TV and satellite and cable channels, a closet, and a safety box for guests’ valuables.

Larger rooms and suites also have extra items such as a dining table, sofa, and walk-in closet. Electronic appliances include a DVD player, a telephone, an iron and ironing board, an alarm clock and a hair dryer. Slippers and nightwear are also supplied.

Private bathrooms have showers and are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, toothbrushes, cotton swabs, shaving razors, and a full set of towels. Some deluxe rooms and suites also have bathtubs. Toilets with electric bidets are separate from the bathroom.

Each apartment has its own kitchen areas with a sink, a refrigerator, an induction stove, a microwave oven, a rice cooker, and an electric kettle. Crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils are all supplied.

Some additional kitchen supplies can be had free of charge from reception. These include kitchen foil, plastic wrap, an egg beater, a baking dish, and a measuring cup. Seasonings and condiments such as salt, pepper, olive oil, and salad oil can be purchased from reception.

Breakfast & Dining

On the ground floor of the building is a public restaurant called Asakusa Cafe, La Grande Calice which is open most days from 7.00 to 17.00 with last entry at 16.30. Breakfast is served here from 7.00 till 11.30 and guests can buy a breakfast ticket for 500 yen at the hotel reception desk. Takeout sandwiches are also available. On Mondays this restaurant is only open for breakfast.

Other Services & Facilities

B:Conte Asakusa has a concierge service at the 1st floor front desk between 7.00 and 21.00 every day. If guests need assistance outside these hours a bilingual hotline is available 24 hours a day. Staff are multilingual and happy to assist with enquiries related to local sightseeing, supermarkets, banks, and medical assistance. Staff can also help to book taxis, place restaurant reservations, and advise guests on mailing and shipping services.

Check-in time is between 15.00 and 21.00 and check-out time is between 7.00 and 11.00. Guests pay different rates according to the length of their stay. Daily rates (for between 1-6 days) are higher than weekly and monthly rates.

Rooms are cleaned on a regular basis. For guests paying daily rates the rooms will be cleaned every day. For those paying weekly or monthly rates the rooms are cleaned once a week.

Free wired and wireless internet access is available in all apartments. Lan cable is also provided in each apartment.

Each apartment is supplied with a Handy brand smart phone which guests can use free of charge during their stay. The Handy has multilingual settings, unlimited access to the internet both inside and outside the hotel, and is an invaluable tool for finding your way around Tokyo as it has apps for both maps and train times.

Each apartment has its own combined washing machine and dryer. Laundry detergent is also supplied. There is also a hotel dry cleaning service for an additional fee.

The following items can be borrowed from reception: an air purifier, a humidifier, a vacuum cleaner, a trouser press, a coffee maker.

Bicycles can be borrowed from the hotel for free and are an excellent way to explore the area.

Location

B:Conte Asakusa is located in central Asakusa and is very close to Sensoji Temple. There is a 24-hour grocery store close to the hotel and the cheap and lively izakaya style restaurants of Hoppy Street are just around the corner. Tobu Asakusa Station and the Toei and Tokyo Metro subway stations are an 8 minute walk from the hotel. TX Asakusa Station (on the Tsukuba Express Line) is just 4 minutes away.
